While Henri was a little
insane, he was also passionate about his new home. He brought all the
faerie together, even though most of them were criminals, and
soldiers. They fought the Nunnehi with all their resources, contributing
to their eventual complete desertion of the area/being killed off
entirely. Horrible stories were told of feasts he would hold, consisting
of well cooked Nunnehi corpses. It was said he was quite an accomplished
cook, despite the gruesome origins of the meal. He also planted the Great
Tree, and claimed that he was watering its roots with Nunnehi blood. In
mortal life, Henri was not much but a trapper and hunter, but then, not
many people there were anything to sneeze at. His dissapearance has never
been explained. He had invited everyone to a dinner at his home, but when
the guests arrived, he was noplace to be found. Letters on his desk seem
to suggest that he had a sweetheart back in France, and it was commonly
thought at the time that perhaps he had just left for France,
heartsick. No one could explain why he would leave any of his things,
however.
