| Dear Marge,
| We finally got in last evening. We are staying at the 'Stone Inn' this time, instead of the motel 5 miles out of town. George is a bit put out, but I absolutely insisted. It's a lovely little inn, run by a sweet young couple. I get the feeling that they were just married recently. Besides, George would only save a little bit staying so far out of town, and I have lots I want to do. The last time, I chatted a lot with a Mrs. Peabody, while George went fishing with some other tourist sorts. I didn't see nearly as much of this lovely town as I wanted. This vacation, I am determined to explore this lovely place. And isn't this stationary lovely? I had forgotten my own, but the lovely woman who runs the place (Mrs. Appleton) gave me sheets and sheets of theirs, besides what was in the desk. I've taken a picture of the room, and sent it in with this letter. I am a very silly goose.
Always, Penelope Dirthington
