This is a list of the largest metropolitan areas in the country with their rough kindred populations and sect affiliation, sorted by region. This is just for reference, given that all of the larger scale politics I've put together here refer to it in some form. Of course, your mileage may vary. I have only included large cities (3 million+) and medium cities (1-3 million) here, because they can support a large enough kindred population to have interesting politics. Smaller cities (100,000 to 1 million) are usually dominated by a single Prince and its brood and are rarely important to sect affairs beyond being strategic stepping stones.

Northeast
The primary battleground of the northeast is New York City. Camarilla forces there are supported by Boston and Providence while Sabbat forces gain their backing from D.C. and Philadelphia. Meanwhile, Pittsburgh and Buffalo wage war on Cleveland in an attempt to gain a foothold for the Camarilla in the Midwest. Sabbat forces in the region are strong, but disorganized, and New York City is being steadily taken by the Camarilla, block by block.

Southeast
The battlegrounds of the Southeast are North Carolina and Florida. The rest of the region is solidly in the hands of the Sabbat. The Camarilla forces in the Carolinas are fairly strong, but those in Florida are quickly being overwhelmed. Should the sect lose the battle over Tampa, the rest of the state will soon fall. The only advantage the Camarilla has is that the rivalry of the Sabbat cardinals has made it difficult for the sect to coordinate its forces effectively.

Midwest
The Midwest is securely in the hands of the Sabbat, with only a small string of Camarilla cities in Ohio and a single holding in Michigan. Support from Buffalo and Pittsburg helps sustain these cities, for the time being, but it is only a matter of time before they are overwhelmed by the vastly outnumbering Sabbat. Cincinnati, the Camarilla's major holding, is constantly under seige from Louisville, Cleveland, and Sabbat holdings in Indiana.

Mountain
This region is the border separating the strong Camarilla holdings in the West from the Sabbat strongholds of the East. Sparsely populated, only a few large cities exist, but they are firmly in the hands of the Camarilla. The Princes of these cities tend to keep to themselves, enjoying the peace of isolation, and are slow to send aid to Camarilla forces in more beseiged regions. The sole exception is Las Vegas, which has a considerable stake in seeing Los Angeles rid of its Anarch warlords.

Southwest
While the Camarilla hold on this region is strong, it is constantly under the threat of the vast and numerous Sabbat forces to the south and is perpetually defending its northern and eastern borders from Sabbat incursions from the Southeast and Midwest. Further, the opposing sect firmly holds the largest city in the region, Dallas, and uses it as a staging ground for attacks calculated to draw forces away from the Mexican border.

West Coast
The West Coast has been firmly under Camarilla control for decades, but that control is beginning to slip. With the rise of the Anarch States and the fall of Los Angeles to Anarch forces, the foundation of its power has been undermined. The center of Camarilla control fell back to San Francisco, where it is under seige from Sabbat forces in Oakland. Also, the subtle Kuei-Jin threat isn't even fully recognized by many of the elders of the region, allowing them to slowly realize their own plans for the cities of the West.
