These are cities that are either on the periphery of the area I was looking to cover, only have a subtle effect on Louisiana kindred politics, or are outside of the main conflicts I wanted to detail. In time, I will likely detail these cities to the same extent that I have the others, but that is only after I am done with my 'core' group.

Sabbat Cities

Memphis, Tennessee

Memphis has passed back and forth between sects for most of the century, but has been firmly in Sabbat hands for the last thirty years and, since then, has become the base of operations for packs infiltrating Camarilla cities throughout the southeast. The local Archbishop is very aggressive, even more so than his Miami counterpart, and odds are good he will be the one to subjugate Mississippi. His primary goal, however, is to take Little Rock and then move south, heading for Baton Rouge. This all works into his bid to make himself Cardinal and remove the influence of Malena, whom he sees as a weak and ineffectual elder.

Monroe, Louisiana

The most recent acquisition of the Sabbat of Memphis, this is the staging area for raids by the Tennessee packs into the heart of Mississippi and for future attempts to seize the northern cities of Louisiana. Currently, however, the resident pack is a bit distracted by their own struggle for power due to a challenge of the standing ductus.

Miami, Florida

Miami is the largest Sabbat held city on the Gulf, and as such has a major influence over New Orleans. The two cooperate more often than not, particularly where gulf shipping and trade are concerned, but there is quite a bit of rivalry between the two cities. The Archbishop of Miami doesn't trust Legba or Samedi and thinks Delacroix is too young. Prior to Vicario's destruction, the two cities were competing over who would take Mississippi, treating the state like a veritable chessboard. Since then, the Archbishop has been attempting to rally the packs under his control for a blitzkrieg before New Orleans gathers the resources to beat him to it. Malena has been encouraging this, despite the protestations of her grandchilde, who is himself trying to muster the roving packs into an organized offensive.

Dallas, Texas

The Sabbat presence in Dallas dates back to the days of the Republic, as does the rivalry between it and Houston. It has also led to numerous speculations about the sect's involvement in the Kennedy assasination and other notable events in Texas history. From the Sabbat perspective, Dallas is their stronghold in the Lone Star State and will be the staging ground for the eventual conquering of the rest of the state. The city gets considerable support from Oklahoma City, though it doesn't really need it. It is one of the strongest holdings the Sabbat has. The Archbishop is a very subtle and wily Ventrue Antitribu who is skilled at keeping the sect in line and organized, the key to their strength. He also shares a sire with the Prince of Houston, the key to their rivalry.

Montgomery, Alabama

Montgomery has been strongly Sabbat since the civil right movement. Moreover, the resident pack is fiercly Loyalist and has very little respect for the constant politicking of the area Archbishops and Bishops. It has been helping other Loyalist packs move into Mississippi of late, interfering with the little chess game that Delacroix and his rivals in Miami and Memphis are playing.

Birmingham, Alabama

Birmingham is the second strong Sabbat city in Alabama and is strongly allied with the pack in Montgomery, though it is less rabidly Loyalist. It is also a strong supporter of the Archbishop of Memphis and has been coordinating with him to make headway in Mississippi. This alliance has been a thorn in the sides of the Archbishop of Miami and the Bishops of New Orleans. The Cardinal, however, is very much in favor of the concerted effort and has been preventing them from trying to manipulate the situation to their own advantage.

Camarilla Cities

Houston, Texas

Houston's influence on New Orleans is mostly through its support of Jean Lafitte, but there is also another issue at hand. With its size and prominance in the economy of Texas, it would be quite a prize to take for the sect and this fact is not lost on Delacroix, who has his eye on the city, just waiting for the right opportunity to make his move. He is aware that Baton Rogue must be his first priority, but is growing restless at the pressure put on him by the fickle support of his grandsire and the ambitions of the Archbishop of Miami and is not willing to dismiss any attempt to grab power. Particularly if he can coordinate the effort with the Mexican Sabbat.

Houston itself is ruled by a rather unconventional Ventrue who is still peeved that Texas joined the Union. He has enjoyed a fairly uncontested reign as ruler of the city and some suggest that he is getting cocky in his old age. Rumors about that there are Sabbat spies throughout the city, preparing the way for a major offensive. Most of this is true, but the Prince is well aware of the danger and is quietly reinforcing his defenses and encouraging Lafitte in his tireless undermining of the Sabbat power base.

Little Rock, Arkansas

Little Rock is in a similar position as Baton Rouge, fighting for control of an area against a larger Sabbat city, in this case Memphis. This has made them something of an ally of the city to the south and the two share considerably more support for each other than they receive from Houston. At the moment, Little Rock is dealing with an outbreak of Anarchs and has asked Orlando to use some of his sway within the FBI to get a task force assigned to deal with the resultant gang problem.

Mobile, Alabama

The Camarilla has been holding onto Mobile by the skin of its teeth for decades now and the city has passed back and forth several times since its formation. Currently, it is practically under seige by the Sabbat of Montgomery, who raid the city every few weeks and have taken to active terrorism in an attempt to stir the resident kindred from their well-hidden havens.

Contested Cities

Jackson, Mississippi

Jackson has been a battleground for most of the latter part of the century, changing hands sometimes night to night as Camarilla forces battle with Sabbat from Florida, Tennessee, and Louisiana, caught in a political tug of war between the Archbishops on each side, while the Camarilla attempts to use the strife to drive both out.

Tallahassee, Florida

The primary staging area for invasions of Miami Sabbat into Mississippi, this city has recently fallen into contest with the arrival of a very obstinant and resourceful Nosfertu who has been carefully dismantling the power structure which the resident pack has spent the last fifty years establishing. The pack has already lost two members to fallout from this interference and is now concentrating on rooting out their tormentor, by any means necessary.
