The Ahl-i-Batini have been slowly fading into the background of the Traditions, taking less and less of a part in the councils and concentrating increasingly on problems in the Middle East. With the British presence in their homelands, however, it is not uncommon go see a Batini in London on business with the council or even with Sleeper institutions.
