+help Overview

The special commands available are split into catagories for easy reference. To get a list of commands in a catagory, just do '+help <catagory name>' (ex. +help mechanics). This is also how to get help on particular commands, just be careful to remove the plus (ex. +help weather, NOT +help +weather).

General

These commands are the basic ones you are going to need to function. For more information, do +help <command> (ex. +help weather).

Mechanics

These commands are for game mechanics, like rolling dice and keeping track of your stats. Many things, like healing and blood point drain, are handled automatically, so you just need to worry about the stuff you do, not the passive stuff. For more information, do +help <command> (ex. +help wound).

Emitting

These commands are for communication, either in-character or out. For more information, use +help <command> (ex. +help mutter).

Building

Most commands for building are covered by the 'help' command. Here are a few extras, which deal with the specific code available here. For more info, use +help <command> (ex. +help parents), except for +placeshelp, which you can type by itself. Also see +news building-codes.

 Equipment Commands

These commands let you alter your equipment sheet to determine what you are carrying and what you have hidden. For more information, use +help <command> (ex. +help give).

Effects

These are commands which help you determine the effects of things on your character. For more information, use +help <command> (ex. +help sin).

Racial

These commands are only useful for supernatural beings. They do not require that you use +help (ex. +vamp/help, NOT +help vamp/help).

Information

These commands provide in-character information. Many of them require that you have a particular skill (like Streetwise or Secrets) or belong to a special group (like the Arcanum). For more information, use +help <command> (ex. +help map).

Systems

These commands give help for many of the systems which are running on the MUSH. You do not have to type +help <system>, just type the command given (ex. +placeshelp, NOT +help placeshelp).
