Welcome!

This is our web page, explaining ourselves. Eric and I are married, and live in Buffalo, NY. We met online, on a MUSH. A MUSH is a text roleplaying environment. This one was based in San Jose, CA. Eric was playing a ghost, and I a young girl. We often stayed up long hours, talking "Out of character" and soon we met in person, and we were just fated to be together. We stayed apart for five long years while I finished school, and we were Married October 21, 2000 in Rosendale, NY.
We have a great apartment in Williamsville, NY. Eric has just quit his horrible job, and is now going to work at the University of Buffalo (his dream job), and my job is what it is. We continue to persue our hobbies, and our dream, to own our own gaming store. We still do roleplay. In fact, here is the website full of pictures of Gencon, and what happened when we were there.

The roleplaying games that we like to play are Dungeons and Dragons, Stormbringer, Nobilis, Deliria, Unknown Armies, sometimes Call of Cthulhu (which I hate). We also used to play a lot of White Wolf, but really lost the taste for it, until the new re-written version came out, which we're dying to play. We just finished a game og Witchcraft, and might be starting some Dark Ages Fae (by white wolf). I really want to run Nobilis, and I would love to play D&D again.

Family Tree! Eric got struck by the geneology bug, and so has been tracing down his family tree. He's spent many long hours poring over barely legible census records that have simply been scanned and put up online, and trying to track down branches of the family that he's never met before, to ask them questions. His research is all online: Genealogy and Extended family tree.

Pictures! I really love taking pictures, though I'm not as artistic as my father..maybe some time I will scan the stuff that's less about people in here, but for now, here's a page that's full of random pictures from our life: Click here!

Our dedication to the Truth! Eric has always been a skeptic, and since we've been together, I've slowly been won over to many of his arguments. I still believe in a few things like ghosts, and along the way, I think I've become intelligent about examining my beliefs. Trying to be rational about irrational things has also helped my frequent panic attacks, an added bonus. Eric has also become more flexible due to our discussions, and isn't so curmudgeonly! Here are some links: Snopes, an urban legends page. James Randi, who has made debunking a life's work. Skeptic Magazine, based in Buffalo, this is a magazine dedicated to looking for the truth in a scientific and open minded manner. Penn and Teller , magicians, skeptics, all around cool guys. We watch their Showtime show quite a bit.
